dmDrift Margin

About

A notebook for the parts between design and operation.

Drift Margin collects small, practical ideas about running software: performance budgets, failure boundaries, maintenance habits, and the occasional useful command.

The name comes from leaving enough room for a system to drift without turning every ordinary change into an incident. The best infrastructure is rarely the cleverest. It is legible, repairable, and calm under routine pressure.

Notes are intentionally short. Each one should leave behind a decision, a checklist, or a useful mental model.
